My pod doesn't show up in the list
Wake the pod until it blinks blue every 2 seconds, turn Bluetooth on, use Chrome or Edge, and make sure the pod isn't connected somewhere else.
When you tap Add pod, your browser opens a list of nearby pods. If the list stays empty, or the app says "We couldn't find your pod", work through these checks.
1. Is the pod awake?
Look at the pod. A short blue blink every 2 seconds means it is ready.
- No light? Move or shake it to wake it. Still dark? Plug it into USB-C for a few seconds, then unplug. See Sleep and wake.
- Battery empty? Charge it. See Charging and battery.
- Red blink every second? See What do the lights mean?
2. Is Bluetooth on?
Turn Bluetooth on in your phone or computer settings. If the app says "Bluetooth is off", that is the cause.
3. Are you in a browser that can connect?
Use Chrome or Edge on a computer or Android, or Bluefy on iPhone. See Which browsers work?
4. Is the pod connected somewhere else?
A pod can only talk to one device at a time. A connected pod stops blinking and disappears from other lists. Close the app in other tabs, and turn off Bluetooth on other phones nearby, then try again.
5. Look for the right name
Pods are listed as RMM- plus four characters, for example RMM-1A2B. Pods with older software show as MotionSensor…. If you are reconnecting a pod you already added, the list shows only that pod's name.
6. Android: location and nearby devices
On some Android phones, Chrome needs the Nearby devices permission, and sometimes Location turned on, to scan for Bluetooth. See Bluetooth permission is blocked.
7. Move closer and restart
- Hold the pod close to the phone or computer.
- Close and reopen the browser.
- Turn Bluetooth off and on again.
