Bluetooth permission is blocked

If the app says "Bluetooth permission is blocked", your browser or your device has been told not to let the app use Bluetooth. You can change that in a minute.

Chrome or Edge: site permission

1. Open app.readmymove.com.
2. Tap the icon to the left of the address (a lock or a sliders icon).
3. Open Site settings or Permissions.
4. Set Bluetooth (or "Bluetooth devices") to Allow or Ask.
5. Reload the page and tap Add pod again.

Android

Chrome needs Android's own permission too:

1. Open Settings → Apps → Chrome → Permissions.
2. Allow Nearby devices.
3. On some phones, also turn on Location in the quick settings. Older Android versions need it to scan for Bluetooth.

Windows

1. Open Settings → Bluetooth & devices and turn Bluetooth on.
2. Open Settings → Privacy & security → Radios (if shown) and let apps control radios.

macOS

1. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Bluetooth.
2. Turn on Chrome or Edge.
3. Quit the browser fully and open it again.

iPhone with Bluefy

Open Settings → Bluefy → Bluetooth and allow it. See Using ReadMyMove on iPhone.

Phone used as a sensor

If you record with the phone itself and see "Motion access is blocked", allow motion and orientation access for the site in your browser settings. On iPhone, the app asks when you start: tap Allow. See Use your phone as a sensor.
