Recording

How to record a session

Tap Record and follow five steps, Activity, Pods, Calibrate, Record and Save. Stand still for 3 seconds at the start, then go.

Recording takes five steps: Activity → Pods → Calibrate → Record → Save. You need an account to record. The demo can't record.

1. Activity

"What are you doing today?" Pick Running, Dance or Walking. For dance, also pick the style: Bachata, Salsa, Kizomba or Other dance. The app remembers your last choice.

2. Pods

"Connect your pods". The app suggests pelvis + both shins for every activity, thighs for more running detail and wrists for dance.

  • Connect each pod and check Where you wear it. Use Blink to check which pod is which.
  • You need at least one connected sensor to continue.
  • No pods? Use the phone itself. See Use your phone as a sensor.
  • A pod under 20 % battery gets a warning.

3. Calibrate

"Ready when you are". Put the pods on, then tap the big Start button. Recording starts at this tap.

Now stand still and upright for 3 seconds while the ring counts down. This unlocks knee and hip angles. See Why stand still at the start?

You can tap Skip and start now. If you don't stand still within 15 seconds, the app moves on and notes that angles may be less precise.

4. Record

Go for your run or dance. The screen shows a timer, Stop and Discard.

  • The screen stays on while you record.
  • Show live signals shows each pod's movement.
  • You can move to other screens; the top bar shows "Recording m:ss".
  • Don't reload or close the tab. That drops the pods.
  • If a pod drops, recording continues. See My pod disconnected.

For running insights, run steadily for at least a few minutes. For the form-over-the-run view, run at least 2.5 minutes.

5. Save

Tap Stop. "Nice work!" shows the time, the number of pods and the signal quality (Great, Good or Patchy).

  • Change the activity if needed.
  • Add an optional note (up to 500 characters).
  • Tap Save & see analysis, or Discard.

Your activity is saved on the device first and then synced to your account. See Sync and offline.
