Account & data
Does it work offline, and how does sync work?
Recordings are saved on your device first and upload to your account in the background. Offline, they wait on the device and sync later.
You don't need internet to record. Every activity is saved on your device first, then uploaded to your account when there is a connection.
How sync works
- When you tap Save & see analysis, the activity is stored in your browser on this device.
- In the background, the app uploads the raw recording, compressed, to your account.
- Once synced, the activity appears on your other devices when you sign in there. The raw data downloads the first time you open it on a new device.
Uploads are safe to retry: the same activity is never saved twice.
Sync status
- In the account menu: "Syncing…", "Offline — will sync later" or "Synced HH:MM".
- On the Profile page: "All runs synced · HH:MM" or "Offline — your runs are kept on this device and sync later", with a Sync now button.
Recording offline
Recording, saving and viewing results work without internet. To open the app with no connection, it needs to be open already in the tab. Opening the app from scratch offline is not supported yet.
Before you sign out
Signing out removes this account's synced activities from this device. They stay in your account and come back when you sign in. Activities that have not synced yet stay queued on the device and upload later. To be safe, check that the Profile page says "All runs synced" before you sign out.
Don't clear browser data before syncing
Clearing your browser's site data, or using a private window, can delete activities that have not synced yet. Let them sync first.
Deleting
Deleting an activity on one device also removes it from your other devices. See Delete an activity or your account.
Sync stuck?
- Check your internet connection.
- Open Profile and tap Sync now.
- Keep the app open for a minute.
