I can't sign in or forgot my password
Check the email and password for typos. Password reset isn't in the app yet, so email us from your account address and we'll help.
Most sign-in problems are a typo or a different email address. Here is what each message means.
Messages you may see
| Message | What to do |
|---|---|
| "That email and password don't match. Check for typos and try again." | Check both. Tap Show to see the password. Try the other email addresses you use. |
| "An account with this email already exists. Sign in instead." | You already have an account. Go to Sign in. |
| "Use at least 8 characters for the password." | Pick a longer password. |
| "Can't reach the server. Check your connection and try again." | Check your internet. If it still fails, our server may be down; try again later. |
| "Too many attempts. Wait a few seconds and try again." | Wait a moment, then try once more. |
Forgot your password?
A Forgot password link is not available yet. Until then:
- Email hello@readmymove.com from the address on your account.
- We will help you set a new password.
Create an account
Tap Create account. Enter your email, a password of at least 8 characters and, if you like, your name. Accounts work right away. Email confirmation is not switched on yet.
Change email, name or password
Not in the app yet. Email us and we will change it for you.
Signed in on several devices?
You can be signed in on your phone and your computer at the same time. Activities sync between them. See Sync and offline.
Signing out
Open Profile and tap Sign out. Make sure everything says synced first: signing out removes synced activities from this device (they stay in your account).
Just want to look around?
Tap Try the demo on the sign-in page to explore sample runs. No account is needed and nothing is saved.
