Getting started

Your first session, step by step

Charge the pods, create an account, add your pods, strap them on with the arrow up, stand still for 3 seconds and record.

From box to first result takes about 15 minutes. You need your pods, the straps, and Chrome or Edge on a computer or Android phone.

1. Charge the pods

Plug each pod into a USB-C cable and let it charge fully. Take the pod off its strap while it charges. See Charging and battery.

2. Create an account

Open app.readmymove.com and tap Create account. You need an email address and a password of at least 8 characters. Just looking? Tap Try the demo to explore sample runs without an account.

3. Add your pods

  1. Unplug a pod. A short blue blink every 2 seconds means it is ready.
  2. Open My pods and tap Add pod.
  3. Pick the RMM-… name from the browser's list and tap Pair or Connect.
  4. Choose Where you wear it, or tap a spot on the body map.

Repeat for each pod. If the list stays empty, see My pod doesn't show up in the list.

4. Put the pods on

Thread each pod onto a strap and wear it with the arrow pointing up, toward your head. For running, start with your lower back (pelvis) and both shins. See Where and how to wear the pods.

5. Record

Tap Record and follow the five steps: Activity → Pods → Calibrate → Record → Save.

  • At Calibrate, tap Start, then stand still and upright for 3 seconds. This unlocks knee and hip angles. See Why stand still at the start?
  • Run for at least a few minutes. Form insights need about a minute of steady running, and the form-over-the-run view needs at least 2.5 minutes.
  • Tap Stop, then Save & see analysis.

6. Read your result

Your activity opens with a Running Form score, one focus for the next run and your top findings. See How to read your results.

Tip: keep the browser tab open while you record. Reloading or closing the tab drops the pod connections.
