How to read your results

Each run opens with a Running Form score, one focus for your next run, your top findings and what more pods would unlock.

Open an activity from Activities. Running activities start with the answer, then the detail.

Running Form score

A number from 0 to 100 with a label: Excellent, Good, Fair, Needs work, or Not enough data. Below it are four sub-scores: Landing, Leg swing, Stability and Symmetry. See Running Form score.

The score compares you with typical ranges for recreational runners. It is a summary, not a grade. A lower score just means there is something worth trying.

Your focus for the next run

One thing to try: a cue (for example "Quick, light steps"), a Drill, and Then retest: practise it on your next 2–3 easy runs, then record a run on the same kind of route and compare. Often the focus is a small step-rate change, because it is the best-studied cue.

Your top findings

Each finding shows:

  • a status pill: Good, Watch or Work on,
  • your value next to typical: range,
  • Left and Right values when you wore pods on both legs,
  • a confidence label. See What do the confidence labels mean?
  • Show how to improve for a drill.

Further down: What you do well, Also worth watching, Good to know, Needs more data and Unlock more.

Tabs

  • Mechanics: left and right charts over the run.
  • Stats: duration, steps, average steps per minute and the metric cards.
  • Splits: per-stride or per-minute values.
  • Data: data quality per pod, raw charts, Download CSV, change activity type, Delete activity.

Walking, dance and other activities

Form insights are built for running so far. Walking and other activities show steps and charts. Dance shows "Coming soon". See Recording dance.

Not available yet

Trends over weeks are not live yet. The Progress page shows your weekly time, but its mechanics cards still say "—". Comparing two runs side by side is coming too.

ReadMyMove shows how you move. It does not assess injuries or health. If you have pain, see a health professional. If you're pain-free, there's no need to change something just because it differs from a typical range.
