Privacy notice

ReadMyMove is a small team in Bulgaria (EU) building wearable motion sensors. We are responsible for the data described here. For any privacy question or request, email hello@readmymove.com.

What we collect: your email address, your consent and the time you gave it, and, only if you choose them, your main sport and the kit you selected in the shop. We also note which page the form was on and any campaign tags in the link you arrived from (for example utm_source), so we know which posts brought people here.

Why: to email you about the launch and when pre-orders open, and to understand which sports people want us to support first. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.

Where: in our own database (PocketBase) on a server we rent from DigitalOcean in its Frankfurt, Germany data centre. We don’t use an email-marketing service today and we don’t sell or share the list with anyone.

How long: until you ask us to remove you, or until the waitlist is no longer needed after launch, whichever comes first.

Confirmation: we don’t send a confirmation email yet. Before we start sending regular emails we plan to ask you to confirm your address once.

To be removed: email hello@readmymove.com from the address you signed up with and we will delete it, usually within a few days and at the latest within one month.

To protect the sign-up form from abuse, our server limits how often one IP address can submit it, and its request log (including IP addresses) is deleted automatically after 5 days.

The web app at app.readmymove.com stores recordings locally in your browser. If you create an account in the app, your account details and any sessions you sync are stored in the same EU database. Email hello@readmymove.com to get a copy or to have them deleted.

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party trackers.

Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to its use, or withdraw consent. Email hello@readmymove.com. You can also complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (cpdp.bg) or the data-protection authority where you live.
